unique wedding ceremonies

The couples we work with understand that their ceremony is the most important part of their wedding day because that’s the part that gives meaning to the start of their adventure as an official couple. It’s a sacred milestone (even if you’re not religious) that involves you and your wider community of family and friends.

Let's work together and design a one-of-a-kind, completely personal, totally YOU celebration!

meet terri, the founder.

I'm Terri — the founder and face of Moonstone: Meaningful Ceremonies.

A little bit about me: I am a former Mayor with years of public speaking and creative writing experience. I love to use that skill set in the service of others...especially on one of the most important days of their lives.

I believe that everyone — regardless of their sexual orientation, race, or gender — deserves to have a celebration that is personal, meaningful, memorable, and fun!

As part of your ceremony, I include important input from you as well as invaluable insights from your network of family and friends because your wedding day is about connection and community. Together, we will create a ceremony that people will always remember.

meet jackie.

Hello, I'm Jackie, a Moonstone: Meaningful Ceremonies Officiant.

My journey started when I began teaching autistic children with emotional and behavioral issues in an elementary setting for the Special School District of St. Louis County, which I continue to do to this day. This experience continues to increase my keen sense of understanding and ability to listen to people while helping to clarify their needs. As a radio news director/anchor for KRMS/Lake94 and several other radio stations throughout Central Missouri, my broadcast journalism skills and public speaking experience have prepared me for this role.

My hope is that people will find their soul mate and spend the rest of their lives together. I believe in love — ALL love.  I believe in marriage and the magic that comes with sharing your life with someone. My parents were married for 63 years until my dad passed away, followed by my mother a couple of years later. I was in awe of their love and the dedication they had to one another.

I am proud to be a part of the Moonstone: Meaningful Ceremonies family. We will ensure that your ceremony is unique and totally personalized with perspectives from your loved ones because we understand that not only do you have a partner to share your life with, but a loving support system of family and friends as well.

religious affiliations

You may have been raised in one of the three great monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, or Islam. Or maybe you practice an earth based belief system. Or goddess spirituality. Or no religion at all.  Whatever you believe, I will work with you to include elements of your personal belief system in order to create a ceremony that is deeply personal, spiritual, and memorable.
